CF FERTILISERS UK PROVIDES UPDATE ON COLLECTIVE REDUNDANCY CONSULTATION PROCESS

CF Fertilisers UK, a subsidiary of CF Industries Holdings, Inc., today said that the collective redundancy consultation processes related to its Ince manufacturing facility and its employees performing corporate functions was completed on 8 August 2022. Following careful consideration of all feedback received during the collective consultation process, the Company confirmed that it will:
- Proceed to the decommissioning of the Ince manufacturing facility near Chester
- Adopt CF Industries’ global operating model for corporate functions, which will entail the permanent transfer of select business activities to CF Industries’ headquarters in the United States, with certain functions continuing to be performed in the UK to support the Billingham manufacturing facility and UK business
Up to 338 redundancies could be associated with these actions. However, the final number remains unknown at this time as some of the proposed redundancies might still be avoided by redeployment opportunities.
The Company will now conduct individual redundancy consultations with all potentially affected employees. The actual timing of when any redundancies will occur will vary based on individual roles.
Challenging operating conditions for nitrogen fertiliser producers in the UK and Europe led CF Fertilisers UK to propose to focus its manufacturing operations at its Billingham Complex and address cost pressures facing the business. The Company believes restructuring its operations as confirmed today will position the business for long-term profitability and sustainability and enable it to continue to supply fertiliser, carbon dioxide and other industrial products to its domestic customers.
The collective redundancy consultation process related to the Company’s proposals for the Billingham Complex have not been completed at this time, but is expected to conclude shortly.

Is Yara Kaynitro a true compound like CF or is it a blend?
Kaynitro Sulphur 25-0-13 + 7SO3 was a CF grade, and was a true granular compound, I assume will no longer be made as Ince is closed. The original Kaynitro 25N 0P 16K without Sulphur was a blend as it is dificult to make a simple NK true compound, hence the addition of Sulphur.

Yara NK Sulphur 24-0-13 + 5SO3 is a true granular compound ..........

Urea £785 . AN . wait for it ..... £875 wtff
That’s cheap for AN, with gas where it is today and into Q4 prices should be £1200+. CF have withdrawn terms.
Urea all the way……….until that gets tight when the whole of Europe switch’s to Urea from AN and CAN.
Energies need to drop especially gas, only way that happens is they (zgermans and the frogs) throws the Ukraine under the 🚌 or the EU implodes.
Either way the little Russian fellow gets what he wants.
