wont be much cash flow to buy any fert if it stays dry for much longer

Nail on head. I am not exactly sitting on a cash mountain as it is, and a crap harvest will erode what little is left. Might be a year of buying whats needed when its needed and if there is something worth applying it to, rather than having a shed full of useless inputs and no cash left.

Had a txt from merchant today about ordering blue bag and I said it needed to be below £200 which he agreed with.too busy trenching to talk
Nick...
It needs to be well below £200 to tempt many this year,£180 to really get people interested,my guess is £195-199 for a short time.

£19x is such a teaser! Then they can ratchet it up to £202 and leave it there all season and still say "aaaah, could have got it under £200 if you took it early. Prepare your ears for the inevitable "sold out" (of their eight allocated loads sold to mates or family), and your bumholes for the annual nitram circus.

Woo Hoo, their giving it away, fill your boots, not.
I’m sticking with bulk urea and keeping away from this annual bs.

Do you buy the bulk urea spot as needed or can you buy now and take the delivery when you want it?

Its something i'm interested in but afraid of a heap being sat for a long time if the weather is;nt good for spreading.

We buy when ever we think the price is right, I have bought a load or two for next year already, which will come in sept/October I guess.
When it arrives, we will just ram it in a shed, might cover it with a sheet, it usually forms a crust on top, which we just melt, but the stuff under the crust is just fine to shovel straight into a spreader.
