I have not forgotten buying 2 years ago, only for price to "correct" by £20 ton after Christmas.
Or buying Urea at £420 and AN priced at £320 odd in 2008 ish? When CF got all cocky and started this Dutch Auction thing. Best thing to have done that year was nothing; all out of bed by spring, and ill feeling that still remains today.

I agree. It has been best to buy early in 9 out of the last 12 years, but that was because it was 200 or less in those years. The 3 years where it’s been more than £250 we have had our pants pulled down later on.
Those that are buying for beet, grass, maize or even spuds have done the right thing in buying early as they need it and it was down from the “old season” price, BUT they only got that price out early this year as wheat was £190 off the combine. They knew it would drop so wanted to price it on the back of that wheat price rather than a lower one.

We decided to buy half two loads at £274 for Nitram just before they closed a week last Thursday. Got a call on Wednesday fertiliser will be delivered tomorrow. Both loads were delivered by lunchtime not sure why, was the last ordered the first to be delivered?

I’ve just been given an eye watering price of over £400 for P&K to go on silage ground. Does anyone know what price Fibrophos is at the moment?

I’ve just had Fibrophos spread on 75ac pre-beet and on grass. The bill came at the same price as last year, £145/t (delivered and spread at 500 kg/ha). No idea what the price would be just for product delivered as contractor brings it out by the spreader load as he’s just up the road.

£400 for P and K 😮😮😮
What blend is that. Straight MOP still around £260 but rising I hear.

10-26-26+s. I’ve used this compound in the drill for years but I asked him 3 times because I thought he meant £315 but his quote was £415.
22-4-14+s for grass £302. It’s just crazy hence wondering what the cost of fibrophos is?
