If no one is buying now like many say will it not lead to increased demand in the spring which might negate any price drops

When they run out of room in the stockyards at Billingham, they'll either drop the price and still make good profit, or turn the plant off and make bugger all.
I'll be heading down the A19 past the factory next week...

Id like to think you were right but i fear its not heading that way anytime soon.
So frustrating one min they can sell it sub £200/ton & must have made money on it surely?
12months later its nearly 1/3 more.
Unlike grain shortages pushing them prices up this type of Fert is man made & there saying oh Gas prices have ramped up blah blah weve heard it all before.
Yes Gas & Crude Oil was low through first lockdown a year past but its now just above where it was 15months ago yet Fert like allsorts of things priced at more.
Strangly Livestock prices as folks know been v good yet i cant say any meat we buy is any dearer now than it was 12months ago?
so whats all going on there?

Jittery bottom time so sounded out local supplier on N prices. They quoted £345 for 38N 19S,
£299 Nitram, £295 Pulan (all full load).

TSP is apparently £470 now, so glad spreaders are flinging some Fibrophos about today!
You can save TSP of you buy it via Agrii with a product they call P-Reserve added into it
knocked 8t of total product off next years recs & ive used it on this years crops.
Its slightly dearer but scratching head maths is around £800 less money wise overall
i might be more but its something like that & ive seen me get 40plus tons in previous years.
Gonna pull mine back further and try this other spray product there saying is snake oil atm

‘Save’ and ‘buying via Agrii’ are not two phrases I usually would put together, but fair play if it works.

I wasn’t looking to buy any TSP, it just came up in conversation. Fibrophos a far better option here normally, but especially now.
