Fertiliser Price Tracker

Makes me confused.com why CF are singled out as the devil for stopping producing when as far as I’m aware every other manufacturer in Europe has shut some of their plants or all.

certainly does none of them any good to not be producing tonnes to sell.

no different to people fallowing land, it’s a business decision based on input costs. Should those who fallow land instead of producing food to sell at what ever the prevailing price is be vilified? Or should business decisions be made to support ones business?

Fert reps getting a hard time, luckily ours phoned and said he’d booked our liquid without asking, 4 weeks ago before it went ballistic. Won’t get it right every time but did this time. Extran 10 months ago was £224, be heading for 600 if it hasn’t already

I should imagine they will send the fertiliser sold at twice that price first. You might have to wait till April though.

CF haven’t offered any fresh terms since they announced the closure, so are yet to take advantage of these mental high prices, it’s only been imported gear or product held in merchants stores that has benefited from the price rises.

Several of my July loads got delivered today, so am still thinking all will get delivered.
