less yield but everything to grow the crop be 1/10th of todays costings
and most of the cropping here was all spring.
1969 Rent was £9/ac a 45hp tractor £750
labour was plentyfull.
Folks were much happier iam sure of that
But had nowt but what more did you want?
Food Shelter a job, Fags n booze n dancing life was good so ive been told on many a time.
Plenty Tatties & Meat from the farm
gardens full of veg of all sorts
Happy days so they all tell me.

Use umbilical system = no ruts

local farmer has been putting pig slurry on corn for years with a umbilical, pipe can do a bit of damage in the wrong conditions
