I also think there will be some angry farmers that felt forced into covering Nitrogen at much higer levels over the last few weeks, than this new offer by CF's refusal to engage with their distributors over their plans for returning to the market or not..... Whilst taking taxpayers money and forcing their industrial CO2 buyers to pay huge increases.
Would they be needing to move N product out in order to continue with CO2 production 🤔

Prices go up and down in all commodities it's
basically a gamble but sometimes events
can move the market against previous rational thinking.
I agree that communication was very poor over a period
of time between the manufacturers and the distributors.

Just secured a load, should have enough for this season now.
Secured?

Do you believe there's going to be a shortage and price going to rise again?

I asked them if they were so sure the price is only going up they would credit me if it dropped. Would take a couple loads if they would. They declined.

Think there could be more price hikes, and lack of gas availability, this just popped up in one of my news feeds........

Ukraine slagged off the new Nord stream pipe a few days ago. Russia has essentially turned off the taps in a way that will damage the Ukraine network. Then cold Germans turn the new pipe on; Russia bypasses Ukraine; job done.

Let's hope their internal feuding doesn't exasperated the situation for everyone else.
Hope you're right

I believe there is limited supply of nitram, at that price at least, and I would imagine the phones where ringing off the hook this morning!
As has been said earlier on this thread urea is still rising and supply has yet to out strip demand so I can’t see a drop in global prices in the short term despite the drop in gas prices. But who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️
