Prices go up and down in all commodities it's
basically a gamble but sometimes events
can move the market against previous rational thinking.
I agree that communication was very poor over a period
of time between the manufacturers and the distributors.

I agree with you but nobody forces you to buy at anytime of the year

VLADIMIR PUTIN has stopped gas deliveries and drastically cut back on other supplies in what has been described as "a major attack on Europe."
Ukraine slagged off the new Nord stream pipe a few days ago. Russia has essentially turned off the taps in a way that will damage the Ukraine network. Then cold Germans turn the new pipe on; Russia bypasses Ukraine; job done.
Let's hope their internal feuding doesn't exasperated the situation for everyone else.

Russia has just announced export quotas on nitrogen fertilisers. Look set to be in place for 6 months.

I believe there is limited supply of nitram, at that price at least, and I would imagine the phones where ringing off the hook this morning!
As has been said earlier on this thread urea is still rising and supply has yet to out strip demand so I can’t see a drop in global prices in the short term despite the drop in gas prices. But who knows
