Been quoted 692 for lithan good value or not?

Yes. I was quoted 695 for June delivery lithan pay 28 days and you are likely further away from where it got off a boat than me. Last week it could be purchased (briefly)at £625. (Actually that was pulan).

Thanks, I'm sceptical about that number, the company I use for agronomy, very large company, had one load of CF allocated to them for their depot

Everyone knows fertiliser is short, so many are keen to get something secured. Supply and demand.

Plenty of buying groups have been taking committed orders for weeks ready for the day the price opens so they can pounce on the lowest price straight away. It’s the same as having a queue a mile long outside the shop before it opens….if what you have is in demand there is no need to drop the price and you may as well double it.

It’s only one step away (if that) from the merchants being franchise operators.

There just isn’t the competition in the market.

One reason I will only buy urea. As a global commodity at least it has a global price that is not quite so easily manipulated.

I bought urea the day before the war kicked off for £660

Same here, I think I bought on the Tuesday and it kicked off on the Wednesday.
The rep rang and said I don't know what to tell you but war is looking likely and I've been told fert us going up tomorrow, for once I got it right and he told me sound advise.

Edit £668 actually and that was for march delivery which didn't happen because of Russian involvement in the shipping of the urea.

199, i breed my own adding on 100 ontop is no easy feat , and im getting a bit sick of work so probably wont get their but you never know .

American, they are same cattle just been line bred and performance recorded for a very long time , they started with 18 lines of line breeding and only line 1 was successful, only government could undertake something like that .
