That looks dear to me, I paid £735 early June for same and only for a part load that was for 20 10 10 plus sulphur

Yup. I'm not planting second wheat at under £250/t. Will be more spring corn.
I think youre right. Fert carries on climbing with fuel and everything else, while grain/meat prices drop, many will shut down for a year
Or go into all the new schemes, farm for the butterflies while the cost to the householder climbs, and thw quality drops

In reality most people will carry on doing what they’ve always done because they don’t do the maths.
Cant see a killing being made by anyone with wheat sub £200/t, that will lead to most that just "carry on" going bust!

Who was the last one to get anywhere fast by not bothering?
If no one drill’s any wheat it won’t be £200 will it.
Even if you do the maths, without a crystal ball the answers are pretty meaningless.
I do budgets all the time but they rarely reflect reality at the end of the year.
