Europe natural gas prices have jumped once again which means increased cost of production for N producers.

#NH3 estimated at almost $2,000USD
#Urea estimated around $1,000USD

No reports of any plants shutting down but the market fear will be there...

Norway has just warned that gas exports to the UK may be shut off this weekend

A workers’ strike there may escalate with up to 60 per cent of the Scandinavian country’s supplies under threat from industrial action

Time to put the tin hat back on...

With Barley for 23 dropping through the £200 floor and Wheat heading that way fast, the decisions are getting easier, IE stop doing anything, its going to cost you.
I think youre right. Fert carries on climbing with fuel and everything else, while grain/meat prices drop, many will shut down for a year :(
Or go into all the new schemes, farm for the butterflies while the cost to the householder climbs, and thw quality drops :(

While the brave/stupid ones make a killing due to the shortage?
