Fertilizer Nozzle/top hat nozzle filters

First time using liquid fert today (Hardi quintastream nozzles grey) and the rate is much lower than it should be. I left the top hat nozzle filters in place should I remove them?

Yes , no need for them EVER !!

Filters at the nozzle will cause unnecessary flow restriction more so with liquid fertilizer due to its viscosity so if you really need to filter it do so when filling the sprayer.

we had a similar issue and changed the blue 50 mesh pressure filter for a red 30 mesh also no nozzle filters
