Fertilizer on Peas

I drilled some Marrowfat Peas about 3 weeks ago.
Soil tests reveal that the field is short of Phosphorus.
I have some spare DAP in the shed, which if applied would help rectify the low level of Phosphorus.
However, will the 30kg/ha of Nitrogen that I will be applying in the DAP harm the peas?
When, if at all, would be the best time to apply the DAP?
Your thoughts (experiences), please?

Dont think the N (small amounts)will harm the Peas but it may limit the plant nodules own N fixing, if it does not need to fix N it wont or something like that. It has been hinted to me in the past that a bit of seedbed N can help peas cant see it being cost effective tho. That said it would not be my choice of P product. Post emerge (i assume they are nearly up) application of P, will it make much difference in a late drilled spring crop thats the question I would be asking.
