Fertilizer price a good thing for farmers ?

Would it be a good thing for farmers in the longer term if the global price of fertilizer was high, say around £1000 per ton ?

Price is somewhat irrelevant if there was a return on investment

Price of wheat was £300/ton per se

If yields and therefore food production falls due to a reduced use of artificial fertiliser globally then prices will rise. It is where the balance falls that will determine if farming is more profitable.
If it becomes uneconomic to use artificial fertiliser the value of my automatic carbon sequestering, fertilise as it moves system (pictured) will increase significantly.
