For those looking to install rain harvesting tanks under the grant scheme, where are you finding the cheapest UV filter of the correct size and Electric pumps?

to receive the grant you must adhere to DEFRA rules requiring
a) 5000litre tank
b) 2 prefilters
c) UV filter capable of a) 30l/min and b) auto shut off.
d) electric pump

I dont need items C & D but have to buy to satisfy application. unfortunately items C& D cost around £1000 which I'm not prepared to spend to have sitting at the back of a shed un used.

the inflexibility and inability to speak to anyone means i shall refuse the entire £25k grant for these tank and a load of other things.

Well thats the total stupidity of it. If I was installing a rain harvesting system of 5000 ltr size total cost would be under 250 quid and I certainly would not bother with an electric pump unless I had to pump it uphill. I thought the whole point about this was sustainability. My polytunnel rain harvesting system was 20,000 ltrs made up of an IBC wall 5 wide and 4 high. each layer had its own manifold with top layer being the surge collection tank feeding the hozelock pond filter with had all the pre filters and UV filter built in. Think there about 60 quid. Drip lines off base manifold and pressure lines off 3rd level manifold. Spray tanks and IBC's filled from 2nd manifold. No electric pumps needed.
