I have the same job to do next summer and was advised to used Tek screws, they'll certainly be less fiddly.We need to replace a roof on a 70s building sometime in the future. It currently has angle iron purlins with J bolts hooked to them. What’s the best thing to do to replace this, I’m guessing that tech screws won’t penetrate the angle purlins. We could bolt on timber purlins and screw into them or is there an easier way?
