Something I want to use this year after silage, got a few reseeds to do and was looking at this to lift indexes. Looks to be a good enough product and plenty use it, time of application is key as it can lock a few things up? Also a Ph buffer

you dont have to worry about putting the potash on in the autumn, I think you dont get luxury uptake so no problems with staggers.

This is my thinking with after silage.. Let the cattle in to clean up and then spread the Fibrophos on after that. I have been talking to a few people and 250kgs-750kgs/ per Acre doesn't seem uncommon. I'd personally look for the highest per acre I possibly can due to how low some spots are here

Someone told me they'd be concerned about Cadmium and lead build up if used long term. Anything in this?
And what about limex, how does it compare?

Just to answer general questions above

Any heavy metal content is minimal. Trace elements include Iron, Manganese, Copper, Boron, Molybdenum, Cobalt and Selenium.

P wont get locked up like TSP

Needs to be spread with a lime spreader or machine with wide moving belt.

No pathogens. Burnt at 850 dec C for 30 secs I think which will sort them.

Hard to beat on price, especially with all the other nutrients included. Prices on Marketplace.

@Poorbuthappy Doesn't really compare to Limex. Only 1% P2O5 per tonne and its a lime product not a fert.

All good advice from Kev and Mounty.

I’ve got customers who have been using it for over 15 years. No problems at all, good yields, improved bushel weights and better quality grain or grass are some of the comments I hear.

We can spread any time from clean stubble to early spring on crops. On grass it’s usually spring and occasionally after mowing.

Not saying it’s a miracle product but generally it’s a very good addition to most farming systems, but not organic I’m afraid.
