Very rapid. how complex was it to fit? Finally got the hydraulic autosteer installed. Now to go drilling with it after testing and calibration.

I agree.Been using mine at fertilizer last few days. It's been working fine once I reboot it once in the morning after start up.
A manual on getting most from the app be good and also it doesnt paint the screen anymore. Im Sure it's a toggle somewhere but since it stopped it it ithe app has been very speedy.
I agree.
setting up some implements, and your tractor can speed things up, creating jobs that will auto activate when you get to the field is handy if you do it, you can create jobs at any time on any devices that has the app, or browser if using a computer.
Mapping fields by driving around them is handy, or the self mapping by just driving the pattern.
The many options for the AB is good but takes a while to get them down pat, the headland AB will disengage the auto steering at the headland not the boundary. But I have yet to find a way to set a fixed size headland boundary manually. So if like me you drill headlands last you cannot use that easily.
they seem to be still improving the app all the time, and you can ask for updates and changes.
a question from me, at the moment my main problem is bout matching on cross slops, this is likely something I have setup wrong or calibrated wrong, but I will ask how are you guys getting on with cross slop bout matching when drilling.
I still have markers so I know when it’s not heading in the right direction. I also understand that compensation on undulating cross slope is likely the most tricky but it seems to get miles off at times. The line is jumping about like compensation is not working , is this something the daily reboot sorts out?
I think it maybe a communication issue for me because I messed with the router and I totally messed it up, and while I worked out how to get it working again I cannot say I got all the settings correct when I did, there are filter settings and board rates bridge setting etc, that I may have set wrongly. I will have to get a new copy of the config file and reset it, to iliminate it from the list of possibles.
The others are in the calibration settings like I get a measurement wrong or the terrain I did the calibration on was not helping, the fields are only now getting to the point you want to go messing on them, well the ones not already drilled.
Ok one more question, the base station,
First so far I haven’t yet got it working in WiFi mode not that that’s a big problem. I don’t have an ntrip account so I wonder if that effects that part of the setup or not, in radio mode which works fine and I setup a metal plate on a trailer headboard to act as a field mount, I trigger a new location scan and setup takes only a short while I do not have the option of hitting all my farm from one fixed location in radio mode so would like to use WiFi which would. (It’s on my list to sort out with them) any tips on getting WiFi working?
I have read the manual but even using my phone on hotspot has yet to see them talking in WiFi mode.
Got a drawing from fendt with the hydraulic circuit. Got some instructions from a different company for a different valve in an older model fendt. Drew the circuit myself to get the hoses and fittings right. Easy.
So how easy is it and what is required to get the system to operate a factory fit autosteer ready tractor? Would also prefer to use the tractor screen but not essential, happy to use a tablet if needs be, but the cab would be getting full of screens.EddieB it can use both types if required
Thanks for the reply. Not sure what the problem is. You go into the wifi settings and tell it your router settings usr name and password. Then it uses that to load the base station data onto the efarmer ntrip server. That should be it apart from telling your rover what the base station id is. This will then, via a sim card or router in the cab connect to the same ntrip server and find the base. can be a delay as it moves back and forth depending on where server is hosted.
Start without the router and establish ntrip holding the rover in your hand connected to your phone. I too buggered the router config, got a new one, got it working, then abandoned it.Thanks for the reply.
my guess is it’s that mini router configuration then for me, as I have done that setup in the base station and had no joy yet.
I have asked for a clean copy of the config file for the router, but not had it yet.
It came setup to me but I messed with it, trying to get my sim working, (no instructions to say what you have to do to it, to get a uk sim to work in the router setup for the EU).
I will get the config file, reload there settings, and try again. the base station setup is easy and I could login to it on the WiFi in my yard no problem, to check it’s settings.
I will retry when I am sure the router is setup correctly.
Cannae use the factory screen. I would figure out how to re route other systems via isobus to reduce clutter. So how easy is it and what is required to get the system to operate a factory fit autosteer ready tractor? Would also prefer to use the tractor screen but not essential, happy to use a tablet if needs be, but the cab would be getting full of screens.
Got my WiFi base station working, It was a glitch at there server end not mine. Thanks for the reply.

I see in the first video that you have 2 antenna's in front. The antenna in the middle is the rover? What is the function of the 2nd (right) antenna? Finally got the 415 working. Software is a bit glitchy but we have decent accuracy finally and that's with a front press going on top of 4" deep shallow ploughing. We're drilling interrow mix of organic peas and barley.
