Filling fertiliser spreader with one tractor.

How long does it take to strap that up?
6 and a half minutes by the time I pick the ton up, hook the strops on the bag, lift it up and tie it off the the posts. It’s no loader tractor but when I don’t have two tractors, it works well enough. Might be 3-4 minutes by the time you pick up a bag and cut it with a loader? Probably less?

Was a bloody good idea, too.

I had a Mother's Look at it, and it can't be done on our Toyota because the back frame won't let them slide out without undoing 12 bolts - but it was still worth a look.

Gives me the utter sh1!s; perched up on the edge of a loading-bank with the forklift at full height, mast right out to get the fert going near the centre of the bin.... accident waiting to happen.

I think I might just refuse to do it, and see what gets changed.

How do I get a full bag of fert out of my fert spreader whilst attached to my loader tractor ??

Yup digger should be here by jan-feb. fingers crossed. I know it’s not ideal but money does t grow on trees either.
