Filling quad with petrol from Jerry can.

Use old formalin cans here, 3 of the old white type have done 20 years service and 3 are the newer style fast flow blue ones. I fill 5 cans at a time and then empty 1/3 of a can out into the empty can (with a funnel) and it’s less spillage and lighter for the girls to handle. Use a funnel to put petrol into quad.
agree the Honda ones on the side are gash, goes from empty to overflowing in second 🤦🏻‍♂️

Thanks for all the comments. Yes, steering full right lock and spout on the Jerry can. Think I’ll get a length of nitrile hose and pinch clip it to improve the situation. Reassuring that it’s a common gripe although irritated that a fundamental issue like this hasn’t been designed properly. The conspiracist in me would assume it’s sponsored by the fuel companies and we’ll all be running electric ones soon anyway. Personally I’ll be back to walking I reckon! Thanks

Not suitable for use with petrol, probably due to the risk of fire.

Get one of these , we use them for our bikes and they are great . Turn upside down press down when it’s full lift up no spills job done .View attachment 947165
We use a large funnel as others do but with a longish flexible spout. 'Glugging' is still an issue if you're too greedy.

Re the above 10litre Quick Fill container - never leave this unattended on the floor in the worksop or shed in close proximity to a chair....... 😲
