Start at the front, then back to front, we also asked Stewart if they'd drop the front of the trailer 6". Makes life so much easier when loading draff at the distillery.

heap you can see around from the front to the back, then heap the sod up back to front. £5 everytime you get stuck into the pot then who gets heaviest load (without spilling any) gets the pot at the end of season.

Back in my youth, fill the front till it reached the window, then level fill from there on, by then tank was empty then start from the back on the next tank and stack it up
Or leave many trailers on the headland for father to fill with combine, get there and find you could not get 1 more grain in the trailer! Climb up and level into the corners and creep out of the gateway at 1mph. Spill a cup full of grain as you rock out of the gateway and receive 40 lashings and no supper

Combine driver tells trailer driver to drive at set speed (3.5k here, leaving enough capacity to speed up and slow down).... Trailer driver responsible for making sure it’s loaded centrally left to right, and combine driver fills back to front.... I personally drop first load in front to put weight on PUH then fill the back working towards the front. Again, 2 x 3/4 fills does the job perfectly
