Because of its age and likely lowish amount to finance, your best bet is a supermarket personal loan taken out for a holiday or house painting or something you dream up.
Don't finance over more than three years for that kind of motor, if only because you might find it doesn't last much longer. Also make sure you insure it for slightly more than you pay for it and that it is comprehensive, not third party.
As said above, budget realistically for repairs and be very aware that repairs could cost an arm and a leg. Worse case for a 150hp tractor, it could cost £15k to overhaul the transmission and engine over a three year period. NEVER underestimate the potential running costs. I suspect a SP sprayer could cost nearly as much in repairs if the worse came to the worse. On the bright side, its unlikely.

I have had a bad experience with them , in Ireland here , I would run a mile from them before I would take finance from them .
Their terms and conditions and interest rates and charges are plainly stated in their contract document.
They may or may not be the most competitive. They do probably require slightly more stringent checks of accounts and history than some, which can delay delivery sometimes I suppose.

They are all money lenders at the end of the day, not friends.

Do shop around though. As a money lender [not your friend!] go for the most competitive deal available.

One company that has been fairly consistently competitive over the years has been Hitachi.

For moderate borrowing, I doubt any institution can better an unsecured personal loan from one of the big supermarkets currently.
