We have done quite well recently with my wife putting jobs on Facebook.

+1

My son did the same & had over 30 replies within hours.

As for Ag colleges, it seems that there are more potential employers than students at the moment so the students can be very selective

I'm always seeing ads popping up on local farming groups on FB, so worth sticking at it. No offence, but are you after cheap labour, a low paid apprentice, or looking for someone with experience who can step straight into the job? There have been a lot of posts on here recently about wages being too low. Not saying that's the case for you, but often you will get what you pay for.

Have you tried the Jobcentre? Seriously, this can be the source of the right person, because after all that is where the unemployed people have to register. People who have been made redundant for various reasons are usually keen to find another job.

Tell them exactly what you are looking for and what you are offering.
