For the serious stuff Ive got these kits, you need the training to go with it though, and then just standard first aid kits from Amazon with plasters and eyes washes with cling film and asparin in as well.

Does anyone have any recommendations for first aid kits for carrying on farm machines.

I'm a bit of a klutz and always injuring myself and would like to be able to help if ever came upon a accident where someone else hurt.
Depends what situation you are dealing with make sure The area is safe before you approach anyone
And have protective gloves
My wife was a part time rapid first responder for the ambulance service and used to drum this in to me if I ever had to come across anyone injured.

Any decent chemist shop will have them in or loads of different ones on eBay, have a few basic ones in different tractors but a higher spec 1 in sprayer tractor with eye wash in as well, also well stocked cabinet in workshop, after an accident with a horse rider and heart attack (sadly fatal) we looked into getting a defibrillator as well, ended up getting 1 foc through local charity all we needed was somewhere safe to put it and provided a small amount of power for it, have 15 people living around farm an only 1 is under 45 so thaught ot was a sensible thing to have, also been on a course on how to use it, hopefully never need to tho

Would a farmer ever throw one out though!? Dread to think how old some of ours are. Hopefully something that's never needed but would feel useless if someone had a hole in there side or a limb hanging off if didn't have anything to hand.

Partly covers your arse for HSE also. Be good to look like your making a effort. I was "sent" to do do first aid course. I'd probably just be sick at first sight of a horrific injury! 🤦‍♂️

You can't relie on the emergency services anymore. Ambulances now being driven by soldiers up here due to staff shortages!

Have first hand experience of how bad they are. One time they did send a helicopter though. It was pretty quick at getting to hospital.

you are saying you would be sick at the sight of horrific injury but i think after the initial shock you would cope and help as best you could. it's all that anyone can do.
