I just had to get a first aid kit for my chemical store with eye wash for my red tractor audit, I got it from agrilinc. It’s only small but they did have a few larger ones. It would be worth a look.

In work we do alot of FAK's for field trips and we have to dump out of date stuff which is ludicrous! Please put in traumatic bleed bandages, alot of ag accidents involve traumatic bleeding and these can be life savers. Tourniquets have come back in fashion again too. A good first aid course is also worth investing in.

We use Medisave alot in work, strongly recommend stocking with;
https://www.medisupplies.co.uk/Firs...-Dressings/Traumafix-Military-Field-Dressings or Celox for a traumatic bleed situation and

These are good stuff. Not particularly cheap but hey ho.

As I have said before on TFF, I would hazard that a farming first aid kit should probably contain a decent tourniquet and a plastic/foil backed survival blanket or bag as some of you guys are working well off the beaten track.

Put 300mg of aspirin in each kit may also be useful in case of chest pain.

Local first aid trainers/St Johns or possibly even the local fire department may be worth contacting so they can provide a 'farmers' first aid day.

Used the out of date stuff for training sessions, don't dump it. In fact I seem to remember that out of date stuff was collected up and send abroad for humanitarian relief efforts?

Just to make your day; my recent RT inspector gave me a non-compliance because my first aid kit didn't have a "best before " date.

Vet used an old flutter valve tube as a torniquet on a cow the other day, very successful.
