So if any farmer left without realising they would weaken first milks position in the market are not as clever as first thought. If every single person left for that little carrot that was dangled infront of them there wouldn’t be a penny of pension fund left. I think everyone realises small coops have it tough and the people that left made it 10 times tougher. So why on earth should the people who are keeping first milk afloat fork out to pay pensions for those that left, granted it’s a different scenario for those that actually retired. And for those a different pension fund could have been put in place. But how would you prove some one has officially retired from dairy, farmers being farmers would con the system somehow. Sorry for that large reply for a small comment, that was to everyone who shares your view!You misunderstood FMs policy,not just retiring farmers,infact ANY farmer who left!
