We’ll have a 7810 series 3 with aircon, wasn’t working but have it working now , something was disconnected at the front because had no power going to the clutch, shorted this accross and everything working, but I would think this connection was for a low pressure switch but there’s actually no port available to connect this to Refrideration system, anyone have experience with this system on a 7810

Some early Fords didn't have a low side port. I always retrofit one. And it will have been R12, so will want converting anyway. If it has the old York compressor, that will want replacing.

Perfectly possible to get it going again, but not for £20.

AC at any price is money well spent. I’ve spent too many hours dripping in sweat inside a hot cab with open windows. Now in my 50s I’m still coughing up dust from my 20s. it’s a good place to spend money and done right it will last a good while. I bought the gauges, vac pump and a large amount of 134a cans from the states and brought home. With the extremes in temp here gas will creep out over winter and most will need a top up in spring. 10$ will Get the cab cold again.

Did the 7810 originally have a low pressure switch or a high pressure switch on the aircon system mine doesn’t have one anywhere, I retrofitted it with 134a it’s running perfectly like a fridge the fear would be if a blockage occurred head pressure could rise and burst a pipe, there’s no visual signs there ever was any pressure switches on it
