FJD Autosteer in UK?

Yes I also agree but my focus is on great after sales back up. I will answer all calls but support will be limited to my customers. FJD have been great at backing up me as a dealer, I’m not so sure they will be as good at backing up thousands of individual customers with trivial questions.
I might be wrong though. 🤷🏻‍♂️
That's a problem between you and fjd, usually most manufacturers will have a list of dealers/ agents on their website. Are you listed on their website or how do people find out who you are if they are interested in the product?

From all of your posts I can see only this:
FJD will sell the kits to everyone who ask for it without giving support. It will be too much job for them to support each guy who bought the kit. So they gave videos on YT how to install and setup. When a problem occures, than "dealer" jumps in because he had a good support and training provided by FJD. You and other "dealers" will do the hardest part of the game. If not, as Robt said, you'll be marked as a bad guy and your job can be at risk. If you accept this game, you'll burn out in short order.
So, FJD does not respect their own dealers. They only want money in the shortest possible period.
This is only my opinion based on what I red here.

Won't this be a bit like car dealers not offering warranty backup to any car of that make regardless of whether they sold it or not?

As far as I could see FJD do not advertise any Dealers or outlets on their website, but maybe I missed it...

I have to admit, that I was not aware there were any UK outlets until I posted on here, asking for any user experiences! Happily, I have heard back from a couple of users who have been most helpful.

Just to clarify for anyone wondering:
FJ Dynamics is new to the UK market and, ERH Services Ltd and Bale Baron UK Ltd are their official dealers. We have been trialing the system on our tractors, as well as a few select customers. We are incredibly pleased with the design and the support from FJD and have now been pre-marketing ready for a launch at THE CROP TEC SHOW at the East of England Showground Peterborough on the 24-25 November register for a free ticket and later at LAMMA 2022.

Please do feel free to get in contact for more information either message me or give us a call on 01403 887720

How are people finding this system for potato work? I've a customer wanting me to get a JD system at £11k plus as they plant at two rows and lift at 4 so needs to be Bob on. Is a JD mapping system compatible and how accurate are people finding the FJD system without a base station (if you need one for a good accurate line). My tractor looks to have had a NH guidance system fitted at some point. T7-210 and has the bracket on the roof, cables and cables in the cab but not sure if it is
auto guide ready. If it has is this system is it >accurate to JD and or FJD?

Thanks

I wouldn't try that without RTK for both tasks. FJD with RTK might be fine, not sure if they use a wheel angle sensor of if they rely on dual antenna heading only. At low speed the system should have a WAS.

FJD is an RTK system so accurate to 2.5cm. As mentioned above FJD system uses a wheel angle sensor. It is also able to be retrofitted to any tractor. It doesn’t need to be Autosteer ready. Everything required is included in the kit. Feel free to drop me a message for more info or give us a call on 01403 887720

Is it compatible to JD's mapping systems/ importing the maps from the System they use or have I to set a and b lines myself?

At the moment you aren't able to import from other systems (e.g. JD) however this is a feature they are currently working on. You can import maps/fields/AB lines from other FJD systems so if you installed it in multiple tractors for example.

Just bought myself an FJDynamics autosteer system with RTK base, can’t wait to tool around in the old Deutz with a fag in one hand and Mickey D’s cappuccino in the other.

Got mine last Friday and Monday, in two drops from DHL. Didn't go for the Base as I am happy using NTRIP, but if a neighbour can be persuaded to go the same route, maybe access a shared base in the future. ;)

Any issues on the getting your EORI number for DHL Import, who I must say were outstanding and helpful.

Might be a week or 3 before I fit it, as TBH, I did not expect delivery in just a week!! Better than getting bits for the Kubota from a local Dealer!

Got an email from DHL yesterday wanting my “Importer of record, address , and vat number”. The email already contained an EORI number, so I filled in the details, scanned and returned the form. I got another email from DHL with a link to sign up an “Opt-in” for import Postponed Accounting for VAT, sent that email back and got a response that due to DHL being busy it may take 5 days to process my “Opt-In” selection. I suppose I’ll just wait and see what transpires. I didn’t expect it to ship so quickly either, according to DHL the anticipated deliver date is Nov 9th.

I had a phone call to the house from DHL but I was not in, so I called them back and got a wonderfully helpful woman who was great.

Essentially put me right on procedure, and how best to get it sorted, which I did today.

I finally got around to starting the fitting process last weekend, and hit an issue in that my Kubota has a "non standard" extended steering column setup. I had alresdy received several follow up Whatsapp messages from FJD's rep and when I mentioned a problem she ramped up the system and put in place a support call.

I then had an online chat with 3-4 of their engineers with me sending vids and photos, and we discussed my proposed fix and a couple of other options. I am happy to fabricate a new bracket and frame, as I am well used to this type of thing, but I was also offered a custom fit bracket FOC that would be sent out to me to weld in.

Really, really helpful, and very pleasant to deal with. Impressive, and gives the lie to those who suggest no support available...

And.... it looks as if the FJD system is eligible for the new Grant schemes...

But check for yourself first. ;)
