Brilliant to hear!! :)

I would love to see Google maps be incorporated as with various Android apps such as Fieldbee...
Yeah Maps would be nice but given the choice my priority would be headland steer so my headland drill lines don’t look like a dogs pee in the snow.

Troubleshooting advice warning!!!!!

I turned on my unit 2 days ago after not using it for several weeks, and was getting very grumpy as I could not get an NTRIP RTK fix fro my drilling job.

Lots of head scratching went on... tried reconfiguring the RTK login, and also a 2nd base site as the 1st would not connect.

Is it software, is it hardware, is it the RTK base?.

Checked cables, checked configuration etc etc.checked RTK Base output, etc etc All appeared OK.

Got very stressed and got on with the drilling... by hand and eye :) Had another fiddle during tea break and gave up... again.

Last night I had a spark of brilliance sanity... check the 4G, Steve. FJD's 4G icon reported OK, but drops out after 10mins. Reboot and comes on again. Hmmmmmmm. Weird stuff here alright...

Then drinking a brew of tea, a lightbulb moment.... Check the PAYG 4G is valid..... Login to teh website....

Whoops!! 10 quid credit had somehow expired and not had a warning email. What a tit....

A tenner later via Paypal, Job sorted...

Why do I always look for the worst case scenarion when troubleshooting???? :ROFLMAO:

Now I was at the exact same shyte this afternoon, drove the tractor over next to the guy in the farm cottage wifi range and upgraded the operating software on the FJD then installed the U turn software/auth codes. Drove to a field to try it out but couldn’t load up saved tasks coz my PAYG had run out ( had full RTK from the base station) £20 via Paypal fixed my “problem” !!

I tried ntrip with a pay as you go sim for one year and went pay monthly after that, probably not the cheapest option, but is nice to have one less issue like that.

I am working for FJDynamics as their Precision Agriculture Specialist for the UK market. If you have any questions about the FJD auto steering system please let me know... I am happy to help!

They're not that bad to use. Don't let that put you off.

Even if the 3 spokes were equal round the wheel it would help. I genuinely couldn’t look at a squint car type steering wheel all day. It would really bug me. My OCD for things like that is sadly very real :(

That one looks better, but it still unequal spoke spacing. I guess you could always get a fastrack to go with the FJD wheel so you have power assisted steering and the wheel always lines up then.

The trick is to find a wheel that isn't advertised for use on a car. From what I have seen, the stock FJD wheel does at least look to be flat. I'm glad I had a trimble wheel on an ez pilot as it would have been a silly reach to the forwards/reverse shuttle with the original wheel on top of the steering motor.
