How are people wiring flashing lights on trailers?
Separate wires, power supply, plugs and sockets and switch in cab or is there a different way?

Wire it into the side lights line.

Our Bailey trailers have a flashing orange light on the right hand side but it needs moving to the middle as People think it’s the rh indicator. And then overtake anyway .

that's how most are done but it's easy enough to fit inline switch

Yes would have to as I don't like the idea of a flashing light going unnecessarily.

Please don’t fit it at eye level it’s very irritating when following. Just saying

We have wired the flashing light into the spare, (normally the fog light) pin. We then run a feed cable from a switch in the cab so that the flasher is only on when it’s required.

I agree. I will only use it when I have to. Could do with some kind of telescopic pole to get it high. With,a lot of loads the tractor light can be seen anyway.

That sounds sensible. Saves extra wire and plug and socket.
