For a start different species to osr. We’ve had problems with spring linseed but not with winter yet .

Unless Cabbage Stem Flea Beetle need to go to Specsavers, they don't eat linseed. Flax Flea Beetle is your enemy now. As above, I've not heard of them bothering winter linseed yet.

Isn't this the main selling pitch for winter linseed? No flea beetles?
Different spp to the OSR ones and flax flea beetle isn't usually around in the autumn. For now.

Winter linseed is not affected by any flea beetle. Cabbage stem flea beetle, clue is in the name, only see on brassica or cabbage family plants. Flax Flea beetle only affects spring linseed. The flax flea beetle needs linseed cotelydons to eat when it emerges in spring/summer, the winter linseed is too big by this point to be a target.
