Can you get new coils welded to a existing axle ?

That’s a shame.i had a coil made by them when I purchased a v form 8/9 years ago.i met the chap who made it at a factory open day and he said they had made none since.

There are only 3 machines in the country that can make the raw coil flexicoils, cousins and grangewoods (Blench). cousins do there's slightly differently to flexicoil in that they well the supports to the axle tube. the original flexicoils which were manufactured in Canada were done like that. When they started manufacturing them in the UK they weld them to the axle at the ends but them the intermediates are welded to a sleeve that slides over the axle, which in time wears away the axle tube and they break
