Flies on cattle summer mastitis.

The fly season is nearly over now what have you successfully used to keep them a bay?
We seem to be in a bad area for flies our vet sometimes says that the majority of calls are about fly problems in August.
I have seen this idea in the USA is there any thing like it over here

What kind of native birds do have over there?
if you have any that eat flies, then make so more will want live on your farm, birdhouses, brush....etc

Over here in the USA we have purple martins and they can be invited to stay with a purple martin house or two, they will lower the amount of flies a lot.

This company sell all the kit to do what i want in the USA

The liquid is described here

So I was hoping someone in the UK would make something similar. It would be of interest to Organic farmers as pour on needs a derogation and apparently causes brain malfunction.
