Flies on cows teats

Having a bit trouble with flies on cows teats at the moment. Had some in last week and sprayed them. Put odd ones inside that were bitten and treated them with antiseptic cream. Going to have a go spraying some in the morning again. Any tips for something good to use?

Battles Maggot Oil is worth a try. You can buy it in 4.5l container, and decant some into a small plant sprayer.

I’d do both...pour some on their back and spray some on their udders
Stockholm tar on their udders would work too but would need regular top ups

Stockholm tar on their teats/ udders weekly. Put it on with a flat piece of wood, I use a piece of roof lath. It works.

Not done it for years but used to just use calving gloves
