Floating cows? floating land?

If land pressure increases enough, things like this could become viable, especially for high value crops. Fish will be farmed too. But people will still want choice and variety.

They make it sound revolutionary- but it obviously relies on all its feedstocks being grown on land nearby.

So it’s exactly like any other dairy- just happens to be floating for no obvious reason!

It is very expensive technology to produce an inexpensive product. As a show case it is informative to city dwellers but not commercial. Cheaper to transport milk that operate the infrastructure that they have included on the ‘Floating Farm’

Through the Lowlands running up to Scandinavia most farming is overly complicated and expensive. Money seems to be no object, the exact reverse to UK. Most Danish farms are insolvent under UK banking rules.

Only the BBC could report a bunch of cows isolated and floating in the middle of an industrial river requiring all produce and waste to be taken to and from it on a regular basis as an "Environmental Solution"

It would be far more productive to reduce deserts.
