floods in Brazil

Seems very serious 116 cities affected, but combined 600,000 people so about the population of Sheffield.

I don't know if North Brazil is cropped or native vegetation, maybe grazed.

Two dams burst too which must be really scary. Granted more space not like Whally bridge or Ully dam.
That region I believe is heavily farmed. Maize Soyabeans and cotton are the primary crops. Irrigation has become widespread in some parts to overcome the fluctuation in yearly rainfall. Very heart breaking to see such a large area and so many suffering.
People with so little too.

Under reported here too, although not seen much news with Xmas, no Xmas for those in that region.
