Some shocking pictures and stories have emerged from the drought and now floods in Aus.

I really feel for the farmers out there and do hope that they are tough enough not to be mentally broken by this unprecedented disaster.

    My thoughts go to them.

  4. I haven't found a farmer specific one, there is a few but most would go to people in city of townsville, they are sending up a heap of hay from down south `

  5. It will wreck a few as they were in drought for 4 odd years, i wouldn't imagine alot of stock is insured so it will be a wipeout, a brutal reminder of farming in the tropics is not easy, and that historically alot of droughts end with floods, even the Egyptians use to record that. I would also assume that alot of other wildlife was killed so an all round disaster.

Being northern style cattle there will be limited numbers for restocking, i don't know how they will finance that if at all.

    Ant....
