Some shocking pictures and stories have emerged from the drought and now floods in Aus.

I really feel for the farmers out there and do hope that they are tough enough not to be mentally broken by this unprecedented disaster.

My thoughts go to them.

It will wreck a few as they were in drought for 4 odd years, i wouldn't imagine alot of stock is insured so it will be a wipeout, a brutal reminder of farming in the tropics is not easy, and that historically alot of droughts end with floods, even the Egyptians use to record that. I would also assume that alot of other wildlife was killed so an all round disaster.

Being northern style cattle there will be limited numbers for restocking, i don't know how they will finance that if at all.

Ant....
