Anyone processing unsown seed wheat into flour for retail?
N
Ours was the same Monday night but still no tins, pasta or riceLocsl Morrisons was giving bread away at 15p a loaf last night had pallets full
Anyone tried whizzing wheat up in a coffee grinder type machine and sieving it ? Trying to convince the Mrs it would work.....
I think that most people will find hammer milled and unsifted wheat just a bit too coarse for their needs. A dose of seed dressing won't do much for the flavour either!!Anyone processing unsown seed wheat into flour for retail?

Anyone selling organic bread wheat in 25Kg bags please?
I believe that Shipton Mill at Tetbury is selling in bags. The main issue generally seems to be that household demand is more than the capacity of the packaging plants as most flour is delivered in bulk.Anyone selling organic bread wheat in 25Kg bags please
I bought 20kg back in early Jan, surprising how much I use, get through a 2kg loaf in a day and a half, also bought a mill (not cheap) and now have been milling some of my Mulika SW, I also have some full spec Skyfall which I have yet to try.
I dont think I will ever be buying a loaf ever again from a shop, it's lovely
sourdough! You can have all the flour in the world but you need yeast too and theres none to be had.
