My name is Geoff, I’m 43 and a falconer.
I’m looking for land in Kent to fly birds of prey.. they will catch rabbits, pigeons and crows!

Good luck Geoff l fly hawks and l have asked for permission in past on the Forum and had some success but I am struggling to find ground with good numbers of rabbits on here in Somerset.

This is of no relevance to the purpose of the thread, but it’s an amazing sport you guys have. Watched a chap ferret hawking in Devon years ago. Ferret down the burrows, hawk above ground. Was great to watch them working together.

It’s definitely enjoyable to watch a bird you’ve trained chase down and catch quarry😃 I mainly fly at feather..

I have just got my female harris out after her molt , I also fly a male redtail .l work my dogs over a goss which a mate hunts hence the need to find some rabbits . What do you fly?
I’m flying a male gos. It’s his 2nd season and his still a challenge 😃 I loved flying my male Harris he was a cracking bird
