Foam footbath

Has anyone had good success or felt that they are saving money using foaming foot bath.
I don't feel we need to use formalin to harden feet just need dd control.

If you are anywhere with a little bit of wind, the foam will be everywhere apart from where you want it

What is in the foam ? Bit worried about teat burn if they go and lie down

peracetic or copper sulfate or probiotics.
the selling point is Its sticky, it uses less chemical, you dont need a footbath and its clean all the time.

Was hoping someone had tried it on here.

We have been trying the Pruex probiotics. All their other applications (bedding, teat spray, water supply treatment) work brilliantly but as I mentioned above the foam tends to end up blown around the farmyard or into the milking parlour (the cows do not like that). We really need a better place for the foot foamer but it would need quite a bit of work in our yards to do that.

Ive been trying the pruex as well, I'm not still not sure about it. Im going to set up somewhere better to use it next year.
