Also in the last pic there is an unused trough on the right hand side , could I get away with putting it all down there in one hit at the same time as I feed meal or would that be too much starch in one hit
Currently feeding 5kgs of meal after each milking , on top of grass silage

And cut back the conc I’m down to 7kg with that much fodder beet it’s rocket fuel
There is litres there for sure, they love the stuff, but do u not get it down the slurry and issues with the tanker? Who is your supplier? How much is a ton? I think it needs to be in a feed bunker cos it just gets everywhere! Have to push the silage in twice, once for the silage and once for the fodder beat

I put it through the wagon so it’s well chopped, I grow my own it’s doing well running at 35tons to acre , I think il need to stop feeding it soon though as it’s worth so much to sell someone offered £50 a ton today so I can see it being pulled from ration, silage is scarce up here

I'm feeding 20kgs, as said rocket fuel, know of 40kgs being fed with rough fiberous silage!
It's low in protein and phospherous so watch for that.
I started because forage is scarce, milk went up 2L and cut meal back 2kgs, which is paying for the beet and saving 100 days worth of silage.
Bearing in mind it is stupid money this year at £50 ton washed and delivered. Still worth it atm, hopefully it will be a sensible price next year as i will be feeding it from now on and making less silage.
