Three shredded wheat and lift in the middle of the gate
I have seen one with a hand winch - don’t know how successfully
I use a length of box section - about 2m length of 40mm. Weld a socket on top of the gate (next size up box that slips over the 40mm) and use it as a lever.
Still heavy, but not quite such an ordeal to lift
