How does it work for grassland and fodder crops. Is the mixes just trial and error, or is there some well regarded research. Tia

We apply either 10kg or 20kg of N usually.
Beet and barley that the sprayer will be through anyway at would do 10 twice.
Silage tends to be 1 application of 20kg.

But we're still feeling our way with it tbh!

Some solid ferts won't dissolve very well for foliar, you'd be as well cracking on with a few nights research on Google

Theres an excellent Podcast from Graeme Sait called Nutrition Farming - Foliar application is covered mostly in the episode below, but he talks about it all the way through his series. Might get a few tips?
great will look at this.

got a tow and fert still learning with it tho
do a mix of solids for main things needed or bulk type products
have done a few mixes thou it along with the likes of fish seaweed etc etc.
did find if mixing fish and urea melt the urea first as the fish coats it and makes it harder to melt
