Can you block people from following you? I have been followed by someone who has joined the forum today and has no history. Is there a function to block this?

Must say I find the whole 'follows' thing a bit strange - I have had notifications a few times that folk are following me, and my immediate thought is 'why would they?'.

Seems a bit creepy to me, and I'm struggling to see why @Clive and @ChrisF have it as a forum feature.

It's standard functionality, similar to the ability to watch a section or a thread. It means you get an alert every time that person posts. Generally used for people you find interesting, so most of the time its a compliment. Given they could use the search functionality to look up every you have posted, its not a massive deal.

However I generally followed by head of other orgnaisations. So I get your point.
