All sounded fairly agreeable, how those good words translate into action and legislation remains to be seen though.

Interesting point re Morrisons milk... thought it was a master stroke on their part at the time (in terms of neatly sidestepping the issue), if as described this has also resulted in increased sales and so on farm revenue then I rescind some of my initial cynicism...

Finally found time to watch the link. Two things jumped out to me - George Eustice saying that RT was voluntary, which of course is true to the extent that if you do not do it, you are punished financially, and that he said lablelling goods with fictional names of farms such as Nightingale are "slightly misleading" but as things stand are OK. No, it is not slightly misleading, it is a lie, and is not OK. The call to give consumers accurate information on the label was airbrushed.
