Yes I think I remember that game! Had some good games in the conference. Think we beat you in 2 play offs but that didn't do us any good as we lost both finals!

life in the bottom division is hard. Not many teams want to play, just hoof it and run. When away teams come to us, they mostly park the bus and hope for a sneaky goal! Im guessing your hoping to go straight back up, what do you give your chances?
I went to the Rioch arena when we were in the championship, nice stadium. It seems to get a bit of stick for some reason, no atmosphere?
    You coming to Kenilworth road?

Yes it's going to be a long season, 3 home games so far every one has parked the bus with two banks of 6ft plus defenders to get through. Newport went away with a win thanks to our keeper! hoping we go up of course but we need a consistent goalscorer. How is Collins the Coventry fan playing for you?The Ricoh is a great stadium when full,7k fans with one stand shut doesn't do much for atmosphere though. Do you think you will go up?

Collins started well, hat trick on the opening day, got 5 now. Not scored the last couple of games. Himself and hylton should score 20 goals plus again hopefully. Sold Isaac vassell to Birmingham undisclosed fee, £1.2ish million. He done well at end of last season, very fast, think we may miss his pace. With the squad Jones has now got we should go straight up but I think half the league could go up!

How do you rate berry did well for us but can only play one position. We shouldn't have let him go really especially to luton Can't blame him though as we are going nowhere.

Haven't been yet this season, so cannot really say. He has started a couple of games and sub a few times. I think most Luton fans were pleased we signed him, expecting good things from him! The local bbc Cambridge sport commentators were not best pleased him going to Luton!!
    You make the top 7?

Yes, five seasons in the Conference after being effectively thrown out of the league, promoted back in 2014. I will never forget the caller to 6-0-6 when Luton were relegated saying it was an outrage and grossly unfair on the Conference as they had effectively been denied one of the two promotion places - (it was clear Luton would go straight back up). Five seasons later...

I don't really support them any more but followed Forest Green for 16 years when I lived near the ground. Had many happy and unhappy encounters with Luton.

James Collins was alright for us untill his head as turned by Paulo Decanio at Swindon. Came back for a second spell but not so good. League 2 is his level, if you can keep him away from trouble. Peeing into pint glasses with his mates, then tipping it onto people below at the races, wasn't his finest hour.

I doubt it. I went Saturday to Barnet we were bloody awful, listening on the radio against Crewe last night we were brilliant. That's going to be the story of are season no consistency. Forecast looks good for football and not farming Saturday so hoping for some your not famous anymore with Coventry coming to Cambridge.

I won't be going Saturday, it's hard enough to do home fixtures at this time of year! Should be a good game, we are solid in defence(only conceded 3 so far) but need a lot of chances to score a goal.

Not too long ago Cov were in the first division!
I think that they and Wolves were both promoted in about 1968?
IIRC Jimmy Hill was manager and Coventry City were at the top level.

Hard to believe how far they have fallen. Hope that the good times return before too long.
