Formaline for scald, dysect for fly protection, creosote for stakes.....man up they work really well the alternatives are poor substitutes.

Nothing really other than if its the same as the footrot bug ...then that would actually mean resistance is possible to inherit as would be possibly, toughness of the skin between the digits. ??Hmmm..... does culling really stop scald flare ups in lambs?
Only foot bath for scald here. Have had many breeds over the years, all them have their pros and cons...... never had a breed where the lamb's didn't get scald when the conditions were right for a outbreak (warm dry after abit of rain particularly)...... just interested in folks thoughts here?

some seem to get the bit of crap stuck between their feet more than others.or maybe the hair that grows on some of their skin makes a difference protection wise...
i dont know.

This is what I use as it’s organic, but haven’t footbathed anything in a few years. Cull them instead.
