I'm going to sell my Daihatsu fourtrak and thought it might interest a forum member.
3 years ago she was sent to a Daihatsu specialist who refurbished it to a very high standard to include:-
Chassis cross member replacement
New springs and shocks
Brakes all around to include discs , callipers , and brake pipes
Complete bush kit
Fuel tank
Clutch
Full engine service and all belts
New side steps
Professionally resprayed
New MOT
Receipts for over £5000 for the refurbishment
Looking for £3750

Tidy job you've done there, quite a fan of these myself. Between a few of us we have 8 of various shapes and sizes, including a rare pickup version. Bombproof mechanics but just a shame they rust so badly, especially the independent versions. The one above would be as good as or better than a new Defender or pickup in my opinion.

They (daihatsu ) pulled the plug rather than updating them they concentrated on small cars, some say it was under orders from Toyota but not sure about that

This is our 7th fourtrak.
They where all bought new except this one and a Y plate that we bought with low miles
The best was a N reg that we worked hard from day 1.Now got over 200,000 miles on the clock and still in daily use.

I had a old k reg with low miles for its age @110k irc.Only sold it as where the starter motor and flywheel liked resting together was worn and starting got a bit of a lottery at 5am. Great ode busses .Was looking again at another one a week or two ago but ended up with a Mini Cooper

92000 miles.
Picked a tractor up from west wales with it last week on the Ifor williams.It pulled very well and £20 worth of diesel put the fuel gauge over half full unlike my shogun

I have auto hubs on an M reg tds, and fixed hubs I believe they are on a Y reg tds fieldman.
