Place beside me cut some meadows this week, ( full of star grass & all sorts, 4 foot tall in places ) all grand till the 4 rotor rake arrived a rowed it.
Then the harvester arrived and I thought this will be fun, didn’t get 2 foot till it was in reverse, fudgeed about for an hour then gave up with 1 load almost full and went home.
To be expected. I would have been annoyed with both operators for not talking to each other. We use a 9 foot mower and usually 3 into 1 which is a fairly big row but wagons easily manage it.
