Trying to replace the brake shoes on my 3000 but can't get the brake drum of hitting it with chisle and sledge and heat but no luck any thing special to remove this drum

Did you completely back off the brake shoes first ?

They shoes might still be stuck out but gradually hammering around the drums should allow the springs to should work eventually. Try knocking them further on first.

Dies the drum rotate at all? Is it just catching on the lip on the drum?

Drum is very free must be stuck to the axle only.other thing I can think of been spraying wd40 on for a few days now it s bound to free up

Have they not got threaded holes like Masseys that you can use to jack them out?

Inbetween the stud holes, 90degree off the two drun retaining bolts

No jack off holes, brake shoes will never stop a drum moving unless seized as shoes never run to the inner edge so if a drum will turn ok it's rust stopping removal, don't hit outer edge of drum or you may crack or break it, just keep hitting between the bolts i use an alloy drift, they can seize on tight.

Shoes are knacked anyway, so try some heat round the studs

Tried the heat drum is very free try n to make up a type if puller atm
