2.300 mk1 65 ..ts59 on local weigh bridge........ so a 1ton ifor still leaves a bit of scope for weights ect... i took mine to local weigh bridge when i changed to 7.5 ton wagon

Would you say a MK 2 65 is a little heavier than the MK 1?

How much heavier would a TS 86 be than a TS 59 with 2 x 25kg weights on be or would they be the same?

Just wanted to see if anybody knows before a go to a weighbridge if I would be overweight with a MK 2 65 and a TS 86 and twin axle 16ft Ifor Williams trailer?

there is no noticeable difference between the two...i would guess the ts86 might be slightly heavier....but i think you would be well within the 3.5 ton limit

I would have thought a TS86 would be heavier - bigger frame, longer boards, etc. depends if you have weights on it and the tractor. I'd of thought you'd be under 3.5t all in with ramps, etc. I would imagine these tri-axle trailers are really pushing the weight limit...

3 axle would be on the limit.....a check weigh would be in order i would think

You said your father in law weighed his 3000 and TS 86 and is bang on the limit. I just wanted to whether his trailer is a twin-axle or tri-axle? I'd say a 3000 and 65 are pretty similar weight wise. If I had a 16ft twin axle trailer I'd probably be under the weight limit. Thanks for your help.

He's on a 14' IW twin axle, he keeps the front sides and headboard on, plus he has a rubber floor protector mat and a toolbox on the trailer. All the latter will stick c. 200kg on I bet, it all soon ads up. His TS86 has weights on it, and the 3000 is on 32"/19" wheels. I'd of thought (without checking) a 3000 is a slightly heavier tractor, especially when on larger wheels...
